Born
in Vigo, Spain in 1944. Reinaldo studied sculpture and art in
Spain and France, served as founder and director of sculpture
and art schools in Spain, and has had several one-man exhibitions.
He was invited to come to the United States in 1984 to create
a public sculpture in the Patriot Center located on the George
Mason University campus in Fairfax, Virginia. He has remained
in the United States until the present. Reinaldo's
most recent works include a bronze bust of Sojouner Truth and
a bust of Benjamin Banneker as well as modeling, molds,
and casting in concrete new statues of the four Taft Memorial
Bridge Lions in Washington, DC (originally sculpted by Roland
Hinton Perry in 1912).
